"Located in the heart of the Wine Country, the Oakmont Golf Club is just one hour north of San Francisco and ten minutes from downtown Santa Rosa. Nestled under weeping willows and majestic oaks, it offers panoramic views of the Mayacama Mountains and the entire Sonoma Valley.

This restaurant and banquet facility has developed a dedicated clientele that appreciates not just the lovely setting, but the event spaces and affordable cuisine as well. The large, brightly lit banquet room can be used in its entirety or divided into a series of smaller rooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame expansive views of Oakmont’s award-winning golf course and the surrounding mountains. Just outside, a spacious terrace overlooking the 18th green is a refreshing spot for a summer cocktail reception.

The venue’s two ceremony sites take advantage of the beautiful scenery. The first is the banquet room terrace, which is accessed by three double doors. On a sunny day you can sit beneath umbrellas and just enjoy the view of Mt. Hood and the Mayacamas Mountains, as well as the golf course’s groves of mature firs, sycamores, maples and redwoods.

The second option is a tree-and-grass-fringed pond about 250 yards from the clubhouse. Guests are seated under shade trees facing the pond and waterfall, which serve as a marvelous backdrop during the ceremony. A storybook bridge beneath a canopy of tall willows spans the pond and invites post-ceremony photos.

The club’s impressive bar is right down the hallway from the banquet room, and rewards with huge picture windows that look out onto the fairways and peaks.
